A Zine is a self published magazine format, usually smaller magazine format. Working smaller it is a zine; it is legalize and folded in half. Self expression is the generalization of what a zine is, it promotes intimacy, this means they are hand to print, face to page publications, there is no screen blocking of first hand interaction between the zine itself and the viewer.

Introduction: Visual Communication

Visual communication as the name suggests is communication through visual aid and is described as the conveyance of ideas and information in forms that can be read or looked upon. Visual communication in part or whole relies on vision, and is primarily presented or expressed with two dimensional images, it includes: signs, typography, graphic design, drawing, illustration, colour and electronic resources. It also explores the idea that a visual message accompanying text has a greater power to infer, educate, or persuade a person or audience.
